Hi! I'm Zihao. I will join the University at Buffalo, State University of New York (SUNY) as a Research Scholar, working with SUNY Distinguished Professor Siwei Lyu (IEEE/IAPR Fellow). I received my Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen in 2026, advised by Professor Baoyuan Wu. Prior to that, I obtained my M.S. from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021.

My research builds trustworthy AI systems that remain safe and reliable as they scale, with a focus on safety of LLMs, safety of generative models, and safety of LLM-based agents, along with data governance and adversarial machine learning.
